Google posted the top five "is it rude" questions we've been googling. And one of them has to do with another trending search: "Gen Z stare" videos are all over TikTok right now.
The claim is Gen Z'ers are so bad at real-life interactions, they can't even make small talk. You ask a simple question or say hi, and it's deer in headlights. (???) (Here's one video that's going viral.)
"Staring" made Google's list of the top five "is it rude" questions, but in a more general sense. Here they are...
1. Is it rude to refuse a gift?
2. Is it rude to wear sunglasses indoors?
3. Is it rude to invite someone to a [bridal] shower and not the wedding?
4. Is it rude to stare at someone?
5. Is it rude to go into a restaurant an hour before close?
