Obviously this weekend was a crazy news weekend...we were at dinner and saw the news on a TV in the restaurant. I couldn't believe it.
Let's get into something a WAY less serious...my weekend pics. Jake went on a fishing trip Thursday, so it was an Olive & Mom (and Dillon when he wasn't working) weekend. Friday we went to the Arboretum for Firefly viewing. It was pretty cool! Growing up in Indiana, I saw "lightning bugs" every night of the summer. I didn't realize it was less common here, so it was cool especially for Dillon and Olive! Saturday we hung out at our friend's house and did a little swimming!
There was a little pop up in Excelsior, so we stopped by to support some local businesses. I got a couple of vintage shirts and flowers for my friend, Michelle!
Dolly got into something and had multiple accidents...and of course they were all on the rugs or carpets....
Luckily she's feeling better now. We met at Duke's on 7 for dinner with Jake's brother and his wife!
Today Olive had swimming lessons, and we went to Target to get some food for the week. I saw a recipe for an egg salad where you use cottage cheese instead of mayo for extra protein, and it was really good. Eggs, cottage cheese, dill, green onions, dijon and some salt and pepper!
Annnnnd we did a bit more swimming once Jake got home at Life Time. I had to grab a copy of the Star Tribune too because my article was inside!
