This was another very packed weekend, and here we go! Friday right after my show, I surprised Jake with a comedy show at Acme. Neither of us had been before, but I saw one of the stars of the show "Hacks" was doing standup there. It's a show on HBO that we both really like. She was great! We had to stop by his brother's birthday party after!
Saturday I stopped by the Taylor Eras Tour Movie Screening we hosted to say hi to everyone. Vont, our new night guy, stopped by too!
I rushed over to Olive's dance class, and then we drove to White Bear Mitsubishi to look at a car Richard found for Dillon. We looked it over, did the test drive and decided it was the perfect first car for Dillon. He got his first job last winter, and got another job this summer saving for this. He turns 16 in November! Shoutout to Richard and White Bear. I work with them, but I also really love the people there and was so thankful to find a perfect car for Dillon. The sad part for Dillon is he has to just stare at it for the next month lol!
We came home and got ready for a very special wedding. Benjamin, who has been on the morning show for many years, is my friend in real life! LOL I was so happy to attend his wedding to Tony. I knew it would be so fun, and it was! Congrats to the happy couple!! Also, Cafe Bar Lurcat was a great venue!
Jake flew to Chicago this morning for his grandpa's funeral. I wanted him to be able to spend time with his family without us chasing Olive around, so I kept Olive an Dillon home. We drove to Wisconsin today to checkout a pumpkin patch and do our annual trip to Fawn Doe Rosa.
