I took a week off, but I really enjoy sharing my weekend photos, so I'll still be doing it. It's been a fun way to connect with you, and I just always appreciate you taking time to check those out. I posted a question box on my Instagram, and I got a lot of similar questions. There are a lot of similar ones I answered a lot while out at the fair as well, so I'll answer those tomorrow morning. I have some sad news to share tomorrow, and I also have some pretty exciting news to share very soon!
I had a short trip planned with my mom and sister for Labor Day weekend from Mother's Day, and we took that this weekend which a nice little break after the fair. The morning show always does the first Saturday and then one 2 hour shift, so going from that to 8 5 hour days was a bit much to be honest. BUT I did get to meet a TON of people which is the point and was so nice after not having as many events the past few years, so if you stopped by, thank you:)
Our family really enjoys the Charleston area, so I picked that because Delta had an insane deal a few months ago, and it's drivable for my sister. We stayed on the Isle of Palms beach.
The beach had such great seashells, so we had a lot of fun in the ocean and looking for shells!
I even got up to see the sunrise which was beautiful!
We went into Charleston to do a little shopping, and found the cutest coffee shop! It was called Harken Cafe!
And we had to grab a family shot! BTW I saw the funniest shirt on a guy at a bar while we were there. I took a photo and will share on the show tomorrow. Yes, I did have to censor it, and he was just wearing it out and about! lol! Talk to ya 2-6p tomorrow, and we do have a podcast btw. It's here, and anywhere else you listen to podcasts. It gets loaded after the show. It's shorter than the morning show since we do play more music:)
