Friday Jake rented an RV, and we headed to Austin, MN for some RV fun. I've been talking about how this isn't my idea of fun, but Jake wanted to do it, so I agreed. Things started off great actually because the RV guy we rented from made a mistake, so we ended up getting a newer one at a discount.
We met our friends, and it was quite perfect. We didn't encounter mosquitos, it wasn't hot (SO I didn't Sweat to death which was a big fear), and Olive got along with their daughters SO well. I've never been to an RV park before, so I didn't realize all the stuff they'd have to do. Pools, slides, blow up slides, bounce house and pillow, tractor and train rides, arcade, putt putt and more.
PLUS, I met Heather, Eli and her son Cale who kept bringing over Jell-o shots! Heather, if you're reading this, you said you sent me a DM of our pic we took on Instagram, but I don't see it! lol
As you can tell, it ended up being so much fun. Here's the fam we went with + one little girl from a different RV who hung out with our families all weekend lol.
We got back today, and I showered and went straight to the Twins game. I feel so lucky I got to throw out the first pitch. Thanks to Dave, Jenny, Drake and Zach for coming out to support, and all the awesome people I met on the concourse who cheered me on. I got a bit nervous before going out, but it went very well which is all you can hope for! ha! I hope you had a great weekend! Thank you for checking out my pictures:)
