Friday Jake and I met some friends for a Maynard's happy hour. I think they have the best fries (waffle) period. Jake also ripped up the carpet in our bedroom Friday. Saturday his brother came over, and they put in some new flooring. Elliott, my pup, is 16. She has incontinence, so the carpet was ruined. We bought the cheapest flooring to install. We'll eventually get carpet again, but we're soaking in all of our time with her until then. She is on medication which helps a bit, but not totally, and we have tried diapers, but it gets all in her hair, so we have to bathe her too often. I walked in and found them like this, and I laughed, so I made them pose for a pic!
We need quarter round now, but who knows when we'll actually get to that.
As soon as they were done, we went to our friends to make a meal together. Our kids are all around the same age, and they're so cute!
And today I met my friends, Harry and Tina for a coffee and catch-up! Good times! We went for a 3.5 mile walk today after, and it was so nice seeing some sun! I hope you had a great weekend! TY for checking out my pics!
