I'm a big Disney fan. I've been a few times, and love how truly magical it is. I was shocked when they got rid of the fast pass and added genie+. Basically just one more thing you have to pay for. Well, now they're increasing that too.
Disneyland and Disney World joined Uber with surge pricing.
Their Genie+ park tickets allow visitors to skip waiting lines. On the busiest days, charges for Genie+ plus will increase from the base rate according to demand.
Currently, Disneyland charges $25 for a Genie+ pass, which half the park visitors choose to pay. Among the other price increases at Disneyland are a 20% jump in parking and the two-day pass option that now costs $285 per adult. (Wall Street Journal)
