There have only been a handful of foods I've tried on vacation that I loved so much I tried to recreate at home. One of those was cinnamon rolls from Iceland. I failed. The other is this butter cake Jake and I had at a place called Nick's in Laguna Beach. I dream of it, and decided to try to make it for Jake's birthday. I made this recipe last night, and it was SO good. It wasn't exactly like Nick's, so I might try another version I found online, but it was SO good! Click here for the recipe!
