What. A. Weekend. Let's start in the beginning when things were hopeful lol
Saturday morning I woke up with a goal to paint some trim in our house. I hire painters for 99% of things because it looks a million times better, and it's A LOT of work for an amateur like me. However, I did think the trim turned out fine...if you look closely you'll see some imperfections, but not too bad!
Saturday night we went to Jake's mom's house for dinner. Olive scored big time. Her Aunt Hannah got her an Encanto dress!
That was the end of a lot of fun...because we woke up in the middle of the night getting sick. We were DOWN the entire day. By we, I mean me and Jake. My mom was a saint and picked Olive up, so we could just sleep and get sick honestly. We thought it might be food poisoning, but nobody else got sick, so we quickly realized it was a stomach bug that I see a ton of people have been getting.
Luckily we're back to mostly normal today. We've been taking it easy on food...toast and potatoes so far today lol...
I also received this beautiful gift from my step-son. Before you think it's headphones or cherries, it is not. He is a 14-year-old boy. It is what you think it is, but he hasn't figured out the male anatomy yet it would appear...
I do need a car wash...
We also got the pups groomed! Dolly hadn't been groomed since summer! Yikes! If you need a good groomer in the Minneapolis area, let me know! She's great!
And today we had an art sesh! I hope you had a great weekend and avoided the stomach bug!
