I don't know if you have small children or not, but it has been brutal with a toddler the past few weekends. It's been so cold the time outside is so limited, and we've been going stir crazy. I hate that to leave the house we basically have to spend money. With that said...it was another action-packed weekend lol. So we haven't had fast food or eaten out all month. Our goal was to not get fast food in January. It hasn't been hard really. I can admit we resorted to it far too frequently in the past. SO this weekend we had our first restaurant food for the month. Takeout from Lagos Tacos, and Olive was VERY excited lol!
I also kicked off a new TikTok series called "imploded". These are stories from people who have emailed me that had a sorta BOMB go off in their life that changed it totally. It's more scandalous if you will. You can find me on TikTok @falenkdwb

I was a wheelin' and a dealin' on Marketplace again. This time I was buying. I got some chairs and this. I will be able to explain buying these dishes one day, but for now...it's my secret lol.
I've been wanting to try Marty's Deli for a while now. Their sandwiches look so good. They do a lot of pop-ups, so when I saw they were doing one at this brewery, I decided we should go. Great sandwiches and great beer!
ANNNNDDDD finally this eye-sore. SO we got a new furnace and AC in the summer...with that came a new thermostat...and we have had a hole and white paint showing since. We finally patched it...this is before we added paint.
Adding paint was a horrible mistake. We pulled the old can out that was clearly too old, so it is no longer a matching color. Now there's a maroon/grey color there instead. DISASTER! I'll have to go by a sample of this paint now to fix it again lol!
