In honor of MLK Jr. Day and Betty White's 100th birthday I donated to Pause 4 Paws and Voices for Racial Justice today. I also rode my Peloton for the first time since having covid. I was told unlike other sicknesses, it is not a good idea to "sweat it out", so I listened because I didn't want any set backs. I did an easy beginner ride today, and you can see my art setup in the background a bit.
Let's rewind a bit though. Friday was my dog, Elliott's 15th birthday, so she received extra treats and love. I made a recipe I saw on @alisoneroman Instagram. It was a bean and cabbage and dill soup, and it was easy and great!
Saturday morning Olive had a dance class...she still doesn't really get it and wants us to hold her most of the time. We decided after this week that only one of us is going because it's too distracting for both of us to be there since only one parent can go into the class. Jake was showing someone he works with that doesn't live here the snow and took a selfie of us.
Olive has been drawing a lot lately and asks me to draw things A LOT! I have drawn Daddy and Uncle Davey no less that 30 times this weekend.
I was also emailed and asked to come meet Little Miss Minnesota, Brinkley by her mom, Kris. It was down the street from my house, and I was honored she wanted me to come say hi, so I stopped by! She was so lovely, and passed her crown on this weekend. I'm sure she has many other big titles and crowns to win in her future! That's it for me!
