I had big plans for this weekend. Maybe that's the problem. It was a weekend of things just not working out. It even started off rough with Jake getting a flat tire. We took it into TGK Auto, and while it was there, we visited the Arboretum. That turned the day around.
Friday night we met some neighbors at our neighborhood fall gathering. Jake's brother has been away at lineman school in Idaho and just got back, so he came to see us.
Saturday morning the guys hung a light in the office. I originally got it for the dining room, but then I changed my mind. I went to the hardware store to get bulbs. The light looked too small in there, so we’re gonna move it to the dining room and get a new one for the office. Also, I got the wrong bulbs. haha so that was a fail.
We also have an old tv built-in. I was gonna have Jake build 2 shelves for it, but it would've taken all day. He bought the materials, and we stopped there for the day. SO that wasn't a total fail, but it wasn't an accomplishment.
Oh! AND I got new pulls for the kitchen. They will have to be professionally installed because they don’t line up with the old holes. hahaha. See what I mean? (Side Note: Jake is going to try to install them! Pray for us!)
Olive is now in all of our cabinets, so we tried to baby proof. I bought the most popular magnetic set off of Amazon, but it didn't work for us, so I just put in Velcro command strips. Fingers crossed it works because it was super easy! command strips! We got baby proofing stuff and can’t figure it out.
We also went to Excelsior for a little Antiquing and found these pretty pieces!
