Hello! This was a perfect weather weekend. Friday we kicked it off by going to Jake's mom's house. It was his step-dad's birthday. I grabbed a great picture of Olive with her Aunt Hannah, and then I grabbed a funny photo of Jake's mom. She is the sweetest. Olive tumbles all the time while trying to walk, but I snapped this at the perfect time. It looks like Linda saved her drink but not Olive. It wasn't the case at all, but I texted that to her to give her a hard time! haha
Saturday we looked at a house we love. It is farther out than I imagined myself. I don't want to curse it, so I'll give updates as we get them. We're very excited! We've been watching "Life in Pieces" on Hulu. It's a short sitcom show where you don't have to pay close attention, but it's hilarious!
I booked a kayak tour for Sunday.
We dropped our bikes at the ending point, and then we drove the starting point and parked our car. It's a self-guided tour, and if you're looking for something easy to do to get outside, this is great. You can also drive two cars, or get an uber. We chose the bike back to your car version. The company provides the drop off and pickup of the kayaks and life jackets. I paid for it, so this isn't an ad. It was the perfect day for it. We did it very quickly, but a lot of people stop for lunch. The company was Twin Cities Kayaking, and we did the Rice Creek adventure.
