It was truly a boring weekend. I'm choosing to focus on the positive though. My mom watches Olive every day still. She lives alone, and she's from a generation that actually keeps a ton of food in her cabinets...unlike us. We shop per every 3 meals or so (well, we used to). Anyway, she was prepared for this, so she doesn't leave her house. She made us dinner Friday night, and it was an Indiana classic: Salisbury Steak, Mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes! Holla if you love some comfort food. Olive ate her book. We haven't left the house since then...soooooo I had to find other ways to entertain myself.
Saturday I did a zoom chat with my high school friends and honestly we should do this more often because we don't see each other a ton as it is. This is Kimberly, Samantha, Tiffany and Jessica!
I had a picture of Jake and I from our engagement shoot hanging in the hall at the top of the stairs. I ordered it from Artifact Uprising. I loved the floating frame and found more at West Elm. I ordered those and finally hung a family photo and our favorite photo of Olive:)
We watched more of All American on Netflix and watched a few episodes of Tiger King. Fun Fact, the crazy zoo guy from Indiana on there is all I see in my news feed. Even my family went to his zoo to "pet tigers" before...ugh...I hope this is eye opening for people. We shouldn't be petting baby tigers.
Anyway, I started posting a lot of people on my Instagram Story. People who are out there still working. Of course there are Health Care workers, but so many others we may not have thought of. I started a highlight for them on my Instagram you can look at. It's pretty amazing.@falenkdwb I also set up a time to ride it out on the Peloton with anyone that wanted to join. Thanks to those that did...it kicked my butt!
I also sent out some cards from a local company (Muddy Mouth Cards) to some friends. I really hope you had a good weekend and stayed in. I know it's so hard especially with kids. We'll be back on tomorrow until 11a:) Thank you for listening and looking at my pics!
