Olive went to Indiana with my mom on Wednesday, and Jake and I went to Costa Rica Thursday. He earned the trip through work. It took most of Thursday to get there. It's about a 5 hour flight and another 1.5 hour bus ride to the resort. Costa Rica is gorgeous! I'll share some pics, although I didn't take many, and at the end, I'll share Olive's weekend in 5 pics too! haha
First, we have to appreciate the towel art. It's one of the best parts of a resort.
The resort had a gorgeous infinity pool, so I asked Jake to take a picture of me. I got some of him too. His turned out a little better than mine...haha
Jake would never brag, but he's pretty amazing at his job. They had a dinner where they talked about most of the people at the event and why they earned the trip. Jake held 3 positions last year, he got 2 promotions, AND he finished at 132% of his goal. Plus, he got more compliments on his hair than any one on Earth ever has! SO he's HOT and he's SO talented. I'm very proud of him:)
I got this hair clip plus 2 others for $10 from Proper Shops, and I love it!
This was my little mermaid moment...except there were bugs all over attacking me so a little less dreamy...
AND I saw a very large hermit crab in the wild which was pretty cool.
Now to Olive's weekend. She had so much fun.
She saw her Great Mamaw, her aunt Kara and uncle Brian...she dressed as Belle for my niece, Ashlynn's, production of Beauty and the Beast (Ashlynn was Fifi the duster), and she hung with her bff, Hazel!
