Good Morning, Afternoon or Night!
Weekends are very much the same but very different for me these days. We still go out for breakfast, and we still go to Target, but instead of buying myself stuff, I'm buying diapers, bottles, wipes and outfits for Olive.
Last week was a long week. It was my first week back to work, so I had a lot of stuff to do. We had a long morning show meeting Monday, and I had an event that night. I wrote some parody songs/bits and had to go back in at night to record and produce 2 different nights. Of course there was a lot of other stuff too, but I used to go home and nap after a long day. Now, I go home and relieve my mom. SO I go right into taking care of Olive. I will find my balance, but this week wore me out. We spent and hour rocking when I got home which was super peaceful.
Friday we built gingerbread houses. My mom was acting like she was effing Frank Lloyd Wright designing hers. We did a time lapse, and at the end, it's my mom decorating while Jake and Dillon eat all the candy.
Our Balsam Hill tree already has some lights flashing. We just got it this year. I called, and they're going to replace it, but now we have to decorate the tree again! haha
Saturday morning I woke up and had Jake take some photos of Olive with Christmas lights...
Then, I went to MOA for shopping and to meet with my mom group! This is a group of women I met through Amma's new mom class.
We hit Target today and are making a stew while doing a little round of Uno Attack.I hope you had a great weekend...I'm so excited for Jingle Ball tomorrow! Are you coming?!
