I did a bunch of cooking this weekend. I love the recipe site, Damn Delicious. I made cilantro lime chicken and butter chicken from there for dinners and lunch this week. I also tried Kodiak muffins for breakfast this week. I've seen it so often and finally got it. It's basically a protein mix. I'll have to try the pancakes too...although, Jake makes AMAZING pancakes, so I don't know!
Friday, our cabinets were finished. I had the bottom cabinets painted a navy blue. I am not painting the top cabinets. I like the contrast!
I bought this art in Paris for the baby's room. I ordered this frame from Pottery Barn, and I think it looks super cute! We still have to hang everything on the walls, but the room is really coming together.
Saturday I cleaned the base boards of our house. I'm gonna be honest, I haven't done that once since moving in in 2014. It was so gross!! I also rode the Peloton, and it's definitely getting harder. I'm winded pretty easily these days. We also took the dogs for a walk. Again, I am usually a speed walker, but I am NOT now.
Jake woke me up for homemade biscuits and gravy and fritatta on Sunday! It was legit amazing! Plus, Sunday is what I was most excited for...I signed Jake's mom and sister up for a basket making class with me. I think they turned out pretty great! It was through Anne Cops @annecops.
