This was a dream weekend. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Plus, there's something about seeing EVERYONE out at the lake. Friday, Dillon and I took advantage of the nice weather by grabbing some ice cream at Izzy's and then hitting the dog park. I loved just sitting in the sun, and yes, I did a photo-shoot with Elliott...
I checked out the new Gina Rodriguez movie on Netflix Friday night, and I thought it was cute. Jake said it was the worst movie he's ever seen. Nice. Saturday, we got up early to grab bagels with my friend, Mike. We went to Meyvn. They have my favorite bagels, and this was their last weekend open. I'm super bummed because they're so good. Although, I read they will still sell their bagels at Kowalski's!
We went for a walk around Calhoun after, and I peed at almost every single port-a-potty. I am genuinely worried about need to pee non-stop on our trip to Paris in a couple of weeks. It was so beautiful out! After our walk, we went to meet a dog that Dillon will be walking for his first job. She's a 15-year-old dog he'll be walking a few times a month. Then, Jake took down the Christmas lights finally...and we decorated Easter eggs...they might be the ugliest eggs of all time!!
We had dinner at Jake's mom's house, and they have baby chicks, so it was perfect to meet them for Easter weekend!
We went to Benihana for Christmas, so we're making it a holiday tradition and eating there for Easter too. We're also going to walk around another lake today. I hope you have a great Easter and got to enjoy the sunshine!
