Friday I got home from work and was surprised to find my friend, Kimberly, on my couch! She's from Indiana and flew in to surprise me! That was definitely the highlight of my weekend. Kimberly is the kind of friend that always has the most thoughtful cards. I write "heart Falen" in a card, and Kimberly has a way of filling the card with the kindest words of all time. She's thoughtful in so many ways.
Friday the chair for my nursery arrived. I ordered one from Target, and it's an electric recliner. Plus, it has a phone charger! haha! The box came, but it was too heavy to carry in. I had a doctors appt, and when I got home, Kimberly had carried the thing upstairs to the nursery by herself! AND she put it together! I told you she's thoughtful!
Friday we tried Lat 14 in Golden Valley finally, and it was great! Saturday morning we went to get manis and pedis. I really don't do manicures anymore. I just got sick of having to go in every 2-weeks, and I would end up biting the gel off of my nails which I know is horrible. BUT Jake set it up, so I chose the most annoying neon colors ever!
OH! I have to mention Kimberly made us breakfast and even made a pancake with my name in cursive! She's quite impressive. Jake was so sweet all week. He got me little gifts each day like shoes, a picture, flowers, a new pillow and more! He also set up a dinner with his family and my friends at Burch in Uptown which was delicious!
It was such a great weekend, and I have always loved birthdays, so I'd say this another one for the books thanks to my amazing friends and family. Also, if you sent me a birthday wish, thank you so much! It means a lot that you'd take time out of your day for me:) I hope you had a great weekend!
