Friday, I had an event at T-mobile, and then the weekend was MINE! Bwahahaha!
But for real...I went home and started watching Shrill on Hulu which is a new show starring Aidy Bryant from SNL, and I loved it so much. I would highly recommend it. We had plans to celebrate Jake's mom's birthday by surprising her at dinner. It was my first time eating at Caspian Bistro (near the U of M) for some super good Persian food.
Saturday, I researched how to save a cactus because I had a beautiful one that just died (I honestly think it was because it was by the TV?) anyway, it said I can cut a piece off to start a new one. Luckily, there was one thriving piece left, so we'll see how that goes. Dillon loves practicing taking pictures with Jake's camera, and he took this very moody picture of me, and he is my new personal photographer.
Jake's sister threw a brunch for Jake's mom, and it was so good! She made the cutest decorations and the feast was ridiculously good. Plus, she has cats, so there were plenty of snuggles. We hit a couple of antique shops after that and then I went home to finish "Shrill". We also watched the final season of Catastrophe on Amazon Prime. Love that show, and I am super bummed it's over. Jake caught me doing a photo-shoot with Elliott...
Saturday night our friend, Stephanie, hosted a dinner party. She made butter chicken in the Instant pot, and honestly, everything was SO good!
