I have a million pictures from this weekend, so picking 5 is SO HARD! Check out my instagram @falenkdwb for stories under radio and travel and more pics! Thursday, I flew to LA. It was a total last minute trip, but I couldn't say no. It was an amazingly cool press event. AND Tina is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, so I invited her to join. Thursday night, we went to Harry Potter World at Universal after the park was closed. We got to ride the rides, and drink all the butterbeer we wanted! We also met "Luna" from the original Harry Potter movies there!
Saturday, we had some time to kill so we checked out the Broad Museum.
Then, we were shuttled to the WB lot where they film a ton of shows like Ellen. We had a screening of the new Fantastic Beasts movie. It was legit good. It was like 2 hours and 13 minutes. Usually, I'm ready for a movie to be over by then, but I was super into it. Tina and I went to a place called Honor Bar I found online and had dinner and went to bed.
Saturday, we had to be up bright and early to go back to Universal. There, we went to Dumbledore's castle for a "surprise". The surprise was Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne and Zoe Kravitz...they just did a little chat and a pic with our group...being short isn't a great thing at times...
We did the Universal lot tour and rode a couple of rides, and we got a free wand before watching the full cast Q&A at the park. Then, we headed over to a hotel for the interviews. They put 8 djs in a room on couches. The actors come through in pairs to be interviewed. After a couple of hours of that, Tina and I ordered room service and went to bed! BUT we had to get a pic with our wands first. The movie is out in 2 weeks. I'll post my videos as soon as I get them from the interviews. Happy to be back in the cold! Thanks for checking out my pics!
