Colton went home last night, and I was NOT upset. A lot of the girls at the bachelorette viewing party audibly gasped though, so he was a favorite for a few. I just thought he seemed to be the least genuine of the guys. SO anyway, I did a little digging on the final few, and here's what I found:
Garrett: He made headlines early on when it was discovered that he "liked" racist posts, as well as ones mocking feminists and transgender people, on Instagram. Since then, Garrett has made a new account as @gy_yrigoyen.
Garrett and Kayla Cunningham dated for a year and half before they got engaged, and then they got married a year after that. While the couple were married for six months, they were only truly married for two months, Garrett said. Their divorce papers show that they tied the knot on Sept. 19, 2015, in Newcastle, CA, and split six months later.
Blake discussed the school shooting at his school, and honestly, it was heartbreaking to hear. Of course after the episode, people started talking about it, and it was even worse than he mentioned.
The 2006 shooting occurred at the hands of 53-year-old Duane Morrison. According to CNN, Morrison sexually assaulted students, and he was holding 16-year-old Emily Keyes hostage. When the SWAT team entered the room, Keyes tried to get away and Morrison shot her, killing her, according to reports. The gunman then took his own life. The victim had texted her family "I love u guys" in the last hours of her life.
I read that and immediately lost it. How horrific and truly sad.
