I recently tried 2 new workout apps. They're both apps you have to pay for, so I did the free trial period for both to see which I liked before purchasing.
One is Aaptiv. That one is super cool. You can choose any workout you want, so I mostly chose walking. You then pick the type of music you want/level you're at. I mostly chose pop or hip hop and beginner. My workouts were usually 26 minutes long. I liked it because it made me work harder with inclines than I normally would with a treadmill workout.
I didn't try the others, but I liked having a virtual coach talking me through it.
The other one that was recommended to me is 8fit. I've only used it twice now. It's different in that there aren't people telling me what to do, and you don't really choose your workout. You put in your info (height, weight, age etc). You tell them how fast you'd like to lose weight etc. Then, they give you 6 daily workouts that are 9-13 minutes long each. They are little intervals, like squats, push ups, etc. I sweat, and I chose the medium level. I did all 6 back to back, and you also get to choose your music.
They offer a meal plan, but I haven't tried that side of it.
