April Book Club is Full

In March, we read "The Girl with Seven Names", and people really enjoyed reading this true story about a North Korean Defector. It was a little different for us which we liked.Make sure you join our Book Club facebook group too! We have a lot of stuff we post on there including upcoming books etc. It's just Falen KDWB's Book Club. This month, we're reading "The Yellow Envelope" which is based on a true story as well. We'll be meeting at the radio station on Wednesday, April 25th 6p-8p at (1600 Utica Ave S. St. Louis Park 5th floor-it's in the West End area) Dinner will be provided by Green Mill, drinks from Bootleg, and official book club t-shirts from MELSA! This book club is full!

About the Book: After Kim and her husband decide to quit their jobs to travel around the world, they're given a yellow envelope containing a check and instructions to give the money away. The only three rules for the envelope: Don't overthink it; share your experiences; don't feel pressured to give it all away.

Through Ecuador, Peru, Nepal, and beyond, Kim and Brian face obstacles, including major challenges to their relationship. As she distributes the gift to people she encounters along the way she learns that money does not have a thing to do with the capacity to give, but that giving―of ourselves―is transformational.
