Friday night, I hosted the annual Pause 4 Paws fundraiser. I don't know the total raised yet, but I'm pretty positive it was a huge success. We were lucky enough to have a bunch of local celebs, I consider friends to help out. Thanks again to Dave, Steve, Hawkey, Steve Patterson, Laura Schara, Alicia Lewis and Kate Raddatz!

Saturday was a rough day. About a year ago I found a lump on my cat, Drew. I knew what it was, but the vet confirmed it was cancer. I had a very intensive surgery done, but they couldn't get it all. I was upset, and I didn't want her to be on medication etc. It took her 3 months to recover from that surgery. On Saturday, I discovered that not only had the lump come back but multiple lumps had, and they are much bigger. I'm calling the vet Monday to take her in, and my heart is broken. I assume there won't be a lot they can do. She's older, and I don't want to put her through another surgery when I already know they won't be able to get it all. I just don't want her to be in pain. She is the first animal I ever had on my own. She means the world to me.
I was able to lighten the mood a bit by heading to Treasure Island to see Hunks the Show! I got Jenny up on stage, and they took it pretty easy on her. Here's a little glance at what you missed!
Finally, on Sunday, I went to my friend, Kate's baby shower. She is expecting her second child, a little girl at the end of December, and I am so excited for her. She would hate knowing this pic is up on my blog, but I think she looks gorgeous!
