I definitely worked a lot this weekend. I tried to take Elliott for a quick walk because she's been neglected and stuck inside even on the beautiful days. I got my new couch delivered on Friday, and I've been LOVING it! I saw the movie "Get Out" on Sunday. It's a thriller, and it's so good, BUT Katy Perry ruined it. For real. She posted a social spoiler. The funny thing is, she didn't do it on purpose. It has since been deleted, and I won't ruin it for you, but it really annoyed me. BUT before Sunday...
Saturday, I went back to Buck Hill for the end of the Shred-a-thon for Special Olympics. Such a great event, and we cannot thank everyone enough for their donations! Right after that, I had to head to Cub Foods in Eagan for an event where I met so many amazing listeners! First of all this adorable couple. She designed Dave's "Dat Brass Doe" logo!
Not to mention these adorable girls, Lizzie and Olivia!!!
As soon as I left Cub, I headed to the Home and Garden Show. I hosted a M&G event with HGTV star, Tyler Wisler. He was just awesome. He suggested everyone do a cool floor-shooting down shot for the pics. It made the photos so much cooler! He also gave great dos and don'ts for designing your house. One big one I took away was if you want to keep your walls neutral, paint your ceiling with a pop of color. I LOVE that idea. He even said black would be amazing!
AND as I was walking to get a free popcorn sample, I heard my name...I turned and got to meet these sweet girls, Kerry and Jayna!
So...you know that friend that always gets the best gifts, and it's like they just get you? They always have the sweetest most thoughtful messages in their card...when you only sign your name normally? Well, for me, that's my friend, Kimberly. She got me this beautiful necklace.
