17k an episode is GOOD MONEY if you can get it, right? I mean, 12 episode season you're banking $200k. However, actors/actresses on top TV shows these days... making A LOT MORE than that. Let's be honest, Stranger Things is a TOP show at this point.
The show just won "Favorite TV Show" at the Kids' Choice Awards this past Saturday, among countless other awards and recognition for the show. Now they can celebrate a pay raise too...
The young cast has renegotiated their contracts and have received a huge raise for the Netflix show's third season. TMZ obtained documents showing that 15-year-old Gaten Matarazzo and his co-stars were initially contracted to receive about $17,000 per episode for the upcoming season. But after renegotiating, that number has jumped to more than $200,000 per episode. That is now almost 2.5 million a season compared to $200k!
