Try Not to Gag at These Gross Behind the Scenes Facts from Shows & Movies

Actors have to do nasty things sometimes. BuzzFeed put together a list of some gross behind the scenes facts from movies and TV shows. 

Here are some highlights:

1.  Nicole Kidman peed on Zac Efron for real in the jellyfish scene in "The Paperboy".

2.  Nicolas Cage ate a live cockroach for "Vampire's Kiss".

3.  Will Ferrell had to film the spaghetti scene in "Elf" twice. He threw up during the first take.

4.  Halle Berry didn't shower or take a bath for two weeks to get into character for "Jungle Fever".

5. In "Night of the Living Dead", the "human remains" the zombies had to eat were made of ham and sheep organs covered in chocolate syrup. The zombies were played by crew members, investors, friends, and bystanders.

6. When Gunner Hansen played Leatherface in "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", he wasn't allowed to wash his costume. He wore it for 12 hours a day in over 100-degree weather.

7. And during the family dinner scene in "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", the table was set with real rotting animal carcasses. They filmed for 26 straight hours in over 100-degree heat.

8.  Danny DeVito ate raw bluefish in "Batman Returns" . . . mixed with mouthwash and spirulina, which is algae.

9.  Christian Bale ate REAL maggots in "Rescue Dawn".

10.  Rainn Wilson would eat something smelly like a tuna sandwich before he had to film kissing scenes with Angela Kinsey for "The Office".
