Vont's Thanksgiving Weekend In 5 Pics: (11/28/24-12/1/24)

Our first Thanksgiving away from home! Alyssa had to work Thanksgiving night so instead of flying back to New Jersey, we hosted our own little Thanksgiving dinner in our apartment. We had everything from ham to potato salad to baked mac and cheese to a Puerto Rican dish called "pernil" which is roasted pork. It was so tasty and a nice memory.

Who doesn't LOVE Black Friday shopping? I wouldn't dare go to Mall of America so I went to Ridgedale and I'd say for how many people typically go there, there were SO many people. I honestly couldn't remember where I parked or what entrance I had even came in.

Of course I had to pop by the station to record a little bit. I'm on 30+ stations around the country so sometimes I have to record a little extra and the Wednesday before the break, instead of staying I just wanted to head home to cook dinner.

Alyssa loves herself some deals from Hobby Lobby. She found this vase and a couple of plants, ficus things and put this little ensemble together for our living room.

I closed out the weekend by watching Hot Frosty! I've been looking for a new holiday movie to sh*t on and this might be the one...
