Friday Night Football at Woodbury High and this was probably one of my favorite ones we've done. A dope group of kids who were genuinely excited and eager to sign up for the $25k scholarship made the night so fun.
I got dared to run on the track during the game... and momma didn't raise no punk so I did! And a cop immediately started chasing me!! It was kinda funny when it happened but even funnier that we caught it on camera. The video is on my Instagram story @vontleak.
Saturday I did some big boy adulting looking for a car! I've never bought or leased a car as an adult so this was a big step for me. I test drove a 2025 Kia Sportage and I'll be honest, I lowkey fell in love. I was kinda nervous because it was my first time driving an SUV but I think I'm hooked. I also made friends with the car salesman because he was my age so I might've made my first Minnesota friend.
LET ME PUT YOU ON... to Tender Lovin' Chix. It's this delicious restaurant and bar I've mentioned several times but this is my second time at the restaurant since they've gone from food truck to actual building. The Rush Hour 4 is probably the best thing on the menu but they have other food and drinks that you MUST try. It's on Lyndale in Minneapolis so make your way out there.
This is a picture frame that I bought Alyssa for her spooky basket almost two years ago. I don't think she's ever put a picture in there but now it's in OUR home and I put a photo of us in there from our trip to Watertown. Hopefully she's surprised when she comes home from work.
