Very busy weekend all around - starting with the Happy Hour which I absolutely LOVED! I'd have maybe 30 photos on this thing if I uploaded all the pics I took with listeners so I'm going to post them on my Instagram story @vontleak. So in the meantime, here's a pic of me and the gang!
On Saturday, Alyssa and I had a self-care/date night. We went and got mani-pedi's so this was me in my zen while getting a scrub on my feet. MEN, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES!
Then we went to Parkway Theater in Minneapolis to see Dulce Sloan. Dulce is a correspondent on The Daily Show so I've seen her when I've gone to tapings of that in New York but this show was pretty cool. It made me miss watching and doing comedy myself when I did it back in college.
Sunday I got to host our KDWB Back to School Bash with PAUL RUSSELL. Paul sings "Lil Boo Thang" and the whole event was so cool. Vans was so awesome and gifted us some dope sneakers so I asked Paul to sign them for me.
I said it a few months back when I met him at Boo Bash and I'll say it again, Paul Russell is such a dope human and he is going so far in his career. Thanks to everyone that came out to see him at Mall of America.
