Today is supposedly the most dangerous day of the year to drive.
A dash-cam company called Nextbase crunched the numbers and found August 7th is the deadliest day on American roadways.
They didn't explain why a random Wednesday in August is so dangerous. But it's based on data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
They also did a poll that found 62% of drivers feel like the roads are more dangerous than they were five years ago.
Of those people, two-thirds said distracted driving is the thing they worry about most . . . 19% said other people's road rage . . . 7% said getting carjacked . . . and 4% said theft or break-ins.
