My New Favorite Mystery

A few years ago, a friend told me about these mysterious tiles that were showing up in the middle of crosswalks, busy streets, and even highways in dozens of US cities and in South America. They'd been around for a couple of decades but the person behind them was a mystery. The tiles came to be called Toynbee Tiles because they usually referenced historian and philosopher Arnold Toynbee. But they also referenced Stanley Kubrick, "2001: A Space Odyssey," and resurrecting the dead! I came upon one of the tiles (or a copycat version, more likely) a couple of months ago and decided to look into them more. That's when I watched this awesome documentary, "Resurrect Dead: The Mystery of the Toynbee Tiles." If you love modern day mysteries, I highly recommend! The film came out in 2011 so it's not breaking news or anything, but it was new to me and maybe it's new to you! Regardless, who doesn't love a good mystery? Here's the trailer:
