Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of famed director Rob Reiner and producer Michele Singer Reiner, was not medically cleared to appear in court on Tuesday (December 16) following his arrest in connection to the deaths of his parents. According to his attorney, Alan Jackson, Reiner remains in custody at Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles, where he is being held without bail. Jackson stated, "Hopefully he’ll be cleared tomorrow and we can get him here," but did not specify the medical issue, describing it as "procedural."
Rob and Michele Reiner were found dead in their Brentwood, California home on Sunday (December 14), with initial reports indicating they died from stab wounds. The Los Angeles Police Department has stated that Nick Reiner is "responsible" for their deaths and was arrested without incident according to Forbes.
