I started flying in 1994 and took Allison up a bunch of times. I had my afternoons free and so we'd go up a lot during the summer and after school. In 1997 we took The World's First Selfie of us in the plane. The next year we said, "Hey let's do it again!"
For all these years, we've gone up every year around this time and taken another selfie.
This year, as you can imagine, was different. Allison is pregnant, due at the end of July, and she doesn't want to take a chance with the virus. When I"m around her, I wear a mask and as much as I want to hug her, I haven't.
But we didn't want to miss the annual picture, masks and all. We got in the plane, took four quick pictures, and then got out.
Hopefully next year will be different, but I'm so happy we got to continue the tradition! Here are all 24 years worth of photos. Thanks for looking!
