The weekend started off great! A guy named Bryce reached out to help me with my electrical issues in my van since getting hit. No shop would work on it since it was all installed by owners and not by a factory. Bryce built out a bus on his own!
I did make sure to watch and learn what he was doing so I can handle more of that stuff on my own. In the end it was a pretty simple fix. Not like how the shop I took it to said it was going to "cost a ton of money" and they didn't even want to work on it. So I'm very grateful for Bryce's help!
I got together with my pickleball crew and got some games in.
I packed up the van Saturday to head up north for some snowboarding. On the way out of town I noticed my sliding door wasn't shut all the way. Attempted to shut it for 20 minutes. Thought I got it fixed. Drove away. It flew open. I cried on the side of the road and tried to shut it again. Still no luck so I drove back home with it wide open and had a pity party for my ruined weekend trip. Sunday I needed to find some joy so I ventured to one of my favorite neighborhoods, Linden Hills and did some window shopping.
I stumbled upon the cutest bookstore called Wild Rumpus. If you have kids, you should take them there! There are animals, cute reading corners, very creative decor, and tons of books!
