Friday night we went to Salut in St Paul to celebrate Andrew's Grandpa's birthday. I forgot to take a picture of all of us so here's a creeper one I took as we were leaving, lol.
Saturday I hit up the Minneapolis Farmers Market. The flowers were particularly beautiful this Saturday so I treated myself to a bouquet :)
Saturday afternoon I tried a new cookie recipe. They are apple cider cheesecake cookies. It was a much more difficult recipe than most cookies I've made because you had to reduce the apple cider and then about 30 other steps. From start to finish it took me 4 hours to make them but boy was it worth it! They might be the best cookies I've ever made! Here's the recipe if you'd like to make them :)
Sunday, Andrew and I grabbed coffee at Smith Coffee in Eden Prairie. I'd never been there before and loved my latte! We snagged a loaf of break too.
Afterwards we were going to go for a walk around Lake of the Isles but since we were all the way out in Eden Prairie we decided to try to find somewhere closer and stumbled upon Riley Creek Woods. It was such a cute woodsy hike with some of the leaves starting to change colors.
