Dave's Last-Ever Weekend in Five Pictures

Every Sunday I pick out five or so pictures from my weekend to post on here. And today, was like every Sunday for many years, except it's different. This will be the last time I post these pictures and it makes me kind of sad.

The whole "leaving" thing makes me kind of sad. Yet, at the same time, I'm very excited to go do the things I haven't had time for; travel, riding the motorcycle or flying to places that are far away and I don't have to be back anytime soon.

So let's dig into these last five pictures.

Friday we rode out to Hamburg, Minnesota and stopped at a bar I'd never been to: Know-It-All's. The girl in front here listens all the time and said hi so we stopped and chatted. And the girl across the bar listens too! Fun meeting you all!

Saturday was the FIRST day it was nice enough to sit on the deck and have coffee! And of course, check out what the neighbors are up to!

We rode 40 miles on Saturday to Hopkins and back for the art fair. Yes, they're e-bikes but it's still some work!

And back home Sunday, I looked up and here are Bernie and Roger, looking like they're posing so I HAD to get their picture.

Whether you look at my pictures every week, once in awhile or this is your first time, THANK YOU. It's been a joy and a privilege to be on KDWB and to be a tiny little part of your life.

Don't forget we have a BIG going-away broadcast at Mall of America this Thursday from 6-10. SO MANY of my old friends will be there! Lena, Falen, Steve-O, Intern John, Angi Taylor, Lee Valsvik, Corey Foley, X-Treme Jamie and more!

And I can't thank you enough for listening to the show in the morning. What a blessing it's been for this nerd from a chicken farm in Colorado to be one of the "cool kids" for a few hours each day. So many laughs and stories and adventures and so much friendship! Even if we've never met, I consider you a friend.

I love you. I mean that.
