Day 1: They were doing a "Name That Tune" game by the pool and I knew I'd kill it. I got all ten songs right and no one else did. Yes, I had an unfair advantage, but I wasn't going to turn down the grand prize: An ice-cream bar!
I went to a great aviation museum cuz ya know, I love that stuff!
Downtown Palm Springs has a great Thursday night art fair/farmers market AND I found this ukulele band!
And a statue of former Palm Springs mayor, Sony Bono.
We took the Palm Springs Aerial Tram to the top of a mountain. Pretty much a "Must-Do."
It was a 2-hour wait but totally worth it.
We learned how to play backgammon.
We rented this beauty and rode all day through Joshua Tree National Park. In case you're curious, that's a Joshua tree behind the bike. Honestly, the trees are nbd, but the amazing rock formations all over the park make it totally worth the trip!
Like this one, called Skull Rock.
I picked up this cool mug!
When we brought the bike back, we found out there had just been a shootout in the parking lot of the rental place. Two people actually died. This motorcycle has a bullet hole in the fender.
Poolside at night.
And this one just made me laugh. It's a shot from the Ring cam at my house in Colorado. Two guys came out to work on the jacuzzi and decided to take a break to play Magic the Gathering! It kept them busy while the jacuzzi was draining. Love it!
