Ouch! Dave’s Injury Weekend in Five Pictures

Well hello! I had to un-tape my finger to type this. Other than the injury, it was a pretty darn good weekend! Let’s look at those pictures!

So yeah this. I was walking across the kitchen and looking at what I was holding and TOTALLY missed that there were boxes on the floor in front of me. Down I went, hard. Even the “fall alert” on my Apple Watch activated. But the worst part? I mangled my pinky finger. It was twisted and bent and horrific-looking. I thought for sure I broke it BUT I did NOT want to spend my Friday night in the ER so I calmed down and pulled and bent and twisted it back into place. I could actually feel it slide back to where it was supposed to be. Damn! That hurt! But it could have been worse!

Found a few minutes on Saturday to watch a little of “Home Alone.” Does anyone ever get tired of this movie? Macaulay Culkin is a national treasure!

Just loved seeing Bernie and Roger staying warm in front of the fireplace.

Every year since Carson was born, I got him a set of baseball cards for that year, thinking he might really treasure them when he got older. Welp, I was wrong. He couldn’t care less. So I gathered them up and gave them to the neighbor’s kids.

Sunday the girls and I played this really cute game that doesn’t really seem to have a name, BUT it’s on Amazon, if you search Expression Puzzle Building Blocks. You look at a card and use your blocks to recreate the face on the card. The girls had fun playing it and then just playing with the blocks and cards.

And that is IT! This is my last bunch of pictures before Christmas so please let me say THANK YOU for looking at my pictures. And especially THANK YOU for listening to our show. Too many radio people are insincere and do their best to appear wonderful while hiding their contempt for people who listen and I hate that. I consider you a friend, even if we’ve never met, and doing the show is almost always the best part of my day. Thank you for our time together and your friendship.

Happy Holidays and best to you in 2026!

-Dave
