Here’s this week’s Slow Cooker Sunday recipe! I’ve changed the way I do it this year and I make this week’s recipe the week before so I can test it out and give you a review.
This was super-easy, just some chopping and measuring! The potatoes and sausage definitely absorb the flavor of the spices and it was probably one of the top 5 slow cooker meals I’ve made.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 hours
Six servings
Ingredients:
16 oz fully cooked sausage sliced into one inch chunks.
2 lbs whole baby potatoes cut in half
2 small yellow onions cut into chunks
1 can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
Put everything in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (I did 7) or cook on high for 3-4 hours until potatoes and onions are tender.
