You may have seen the pictures I've taken with my daughter Allison and I flying every year since 1997. That's 25 years of pictures and we both love the tradition.
In 2009, Carson and I started our own tradition of going canoeing every summer. The first few years were pretty adventurous and we'd canoe down the Mississippi and camp overnight on an island. We did that for a few years and then just went out on Lake Ann or Lake Minnewashta. A few times we didn't even have a canoe because rentals were closed and we didn't have a car big enough to carry one. (this year, for example) But no way were we giving up this tradition!

If you have kids, you really should start a tradition like this. Find a place you both love that will always be there or an activity that you both enjoy and take those annual pictures. It only takes a few years for you to build a tradition!
