Look What I Found in My Backyard!

I was out in the backyard and looked down in the flower bed and saw this. I'd never seen a frog (or is it a toad?) waking up from hibernation. I had no idea they hibernated so close to the surface, but I had never put much thought into it. He was sleepy and annoyed and cold and probably wishing he'd waited till a warmer day.
