It was kind of a quiet, odd weekend. I'd hoped to get out on the motorcycle and enjoy some spring weather but as you know, it was kind of chilly and gross outside. I got out anyway here and there. Here's my weekend in five, count 'em, five pictures!
Let's start off with this one. A walk around Lake Bde Maka Ska.
Friday afternoon I took a long walk at Westwood Hils Nature Center in St. Louis Park. I'd driven by this a million times and never even knew it was there. Just a beautiful walk through the wetlands. And of course, plenty of deer!

This was me being artsy with a filter.
But the highlight was when my daughter Allison invited me to go for a walk at Centennial Lakes in Edina. I'd never been before so that was cool, because it really is a beautiful park with a manmade lake and lots of landscaping. But the best part was her daughter Ava came along. She's 8 months old and studies everything. She just stared at me the entire time. I'm not sure if you can see how happy I am in this picture!
