Including Thursday night because it was our Section Speech tournament - we had 10 finalists and are sending 3 to State. Proud of these students.
Then Friday night was day 2/3 for Speech - our Showcase! It's our one public performance for family and friends and even though a bunch of kids mysteriously couldn't make it, it ended up going well. I just love them all so much!
Saturday was our last invitational of the season, which is where we traditionally bring out our Mustang head. There USED to be a dance party before awards, where the horse head would make its debut. Now we kinda just wear it and walk around. We always have at least one kid who braves the sweaty horse head. This year it was Saara.
Sunday was Palm Sunday and choir sang at church! Was happy to hang with Momma Ronda (even though we were the only non-kids in the palm processional).
After church, Regular Guy and I went to a build your own houseplant walk in at Sociable Ciderwerks put on by Succ It Up Buttercup. We put our plant in a Menards mug because #comedy
Bonus pic because we were going to go see Project Hail Mary but it was so nice out that we decided to check out another brewery, Wooden Hill, and their sunny patio!
