Friday night, after a long day of student meetings for Speech, I went to see Third Space Theater's Plano at the Mixed Blood Theatre! It was really weird, but really well done.
Saturday was our first regular tournament of the Speech season! We had 22 finalists, 11 varsity, 2 national bids, and 2 first place winners! We won 4th overall in sweepstakes. It was a small tournament, but a good one to start off the season.
Saturday night I went to see a storytelling show by Cheap Theatre. My former coworker Richard was in it, and I brought my dad!
Momma Ronda and I sang in our church choir on Sunday and surprise guest of honor: Regular Guy! He was put to work immediately upon arrival.
The rest of Sunday and Monday were pretty chill because it was so insanely cold out, but Regular Guy and I went to Sushi Train and The Block for food (we can cook, we just choose not to).
