Friday after work I went to lunch with Katie Capp to El Sazon Cocina & Tragos and it was SO GOOD. I definitely recommend it. That burrito was the size of my arm.
Saturday I went to my theatre buddy Tim's funeral - he was a DRS listener and we went to a handful of musicals together. He was a really great dude with many talents and I'll miss him a lot.
After the funeral, Regular Guy brought me to meet his parents. I saw his childhood home and we went to Porter Creek for dinner! Got this souvenir for my fridge - Regular Guy on the high school baseball team.
Sunday morning my mom and I sang in the church choir. It was "star word" day, where we draw a word to live by for 2026 and mine was Conviction. My mom was lucky and got Rest.
Sunday afternoon I went to the library for a Speech work day and I had nine kids show up! I know that's not a ton, but nine kids on a Sunday afternoon during winter break? Amazing!
