Friday night I met up for dinner with one of my former Speech students and we went to see Singin' in the Rain at Artistry! A great show, loved all the tap dancing, and of course the top notch company I got to spend the night with!
It was a big weekend at the Fair! I was out there both Saturday and Monday with my family before my KDWB shifts. Met a lot of cool listeners and ate a lot of good food. Walked a LOT. Ugh I love the fair.
Momma Ronda and my sister Madison were my main company at the Fair. My sister pet a cow for like... 20 minutes. My mom's bench ALWAYS had someone sitting on it. Unfair.
I met a lot of listeners but I also had friends show up as well! This is my friend Sarah and her family. She's the one who collects teeth.
My improv friends Ryan and Janelle! I spent the last few hours of the Fair with Janelle and we wandered through the Midway, which I have never done. Felt like another world. Ugh we love the Fair.
Also worked my first day at the Renaissance Festival! I'm getting shorter shifts now because I think my boss understands I'm old and can't do 11 hours with a bunch of teenagers. It was 6 hours of being roasted for being a millennial. I definitely need new shoes.
