Friday night I went to see a Maxx Voltage produced Drag show at Queermunity in Uptown with my friend Hannah! I got to meet some neat people, see some neat drag, and hang out with my bff.
Saturday was our last Speech invitational tournament of the season! I judged Creative Expression, Poetry, Drama, and Prose. We won 1st place in Limited Entries Sweepstakes!! It started out rocky, but turned out great. Our next tournament is Sections on April 15th, then (hopefully) State and Nationals in May! But our regular season has come to a close.
Afterwards I went to my friend Sarah's house to hang with her, Nick, and Trish and we played Doni Pepperoni, The Chameleon, and watched Napoleon Dynamite! (Also Napoleon is a GORGEOUS film. Truly, it's artfully composed.)
Sunday I mostly lazed around, cleaned a bit, and then it was DND night at Insight Brewing. I play a centaur gunslinger - today we finally named our party after 5 years: Hodgepodge Collage.
Since I didn't have much planned for Sunday, I spent a good chunk of time with Capp so he didn't think I was a neglectful mother. He is so sweet. I love him.
