It was a jam packed week - I've worked at the Fair and at the Renaissance Festival at the same time the last 3 years and the overlap is A LOT.
Friday after work I went straight to the salon and got my hair did! I usually get bangs in the fall, and this time I thought I'd do something cray cray and bleach a chunk for funsies. I really like it! Thank you Claire at Onyx Hair Studio!
Friday night, we had our first performance of Improvised Twilight Zone at 2D Con in Minneapolis. It was very well attended for not being our usual performance spot. I played a genie who came to visit a VCR repairman!
Saturday was Fair broadcast day! It was so awesome meeting listeners and also seeing some friends!
After the show, my mom and I cavorted around the Fair a little bit. I ran into the Fair mascots AND my old boss from MNHS!
My mom and I went on a journey to find her bench and we found it! It was in an entirely different spot than last year, and kinda smushed up against another bench, but we got a pic! You should go find it! (Near pickle pizza!)
Sunday was my first day working the Renaissance Festival this year. Mostly new coworkers this year, and everyone is in high school except me. But I like it anyway. It was a HOT day and I sell chocolate for the Danger Committee, soooo sales weren't booming. Doin' it all again next week!
